# Chaofan Tao (陶超凡) > Chaofan Tao is an AI researcher at LegoX (https://www.legox.net/), an open-source effort on agentic data, training infrastructure, evaluation, and models for coding agents. He is also a researcher at Huawei Foundation Model Lab. His work covers LLM coding agents, agentic reinforcement learning, agentic data and environments, multimodal LLM reasoning, and efficient LLM training and inference. He received his PhD from The University of Hong Kong (advised by Prof. Ngai Wong and Prof. Ping Luo, MMLAB@HKU) and his bachelor's degree from the Yingcai Honors College, UESTC. His paper on generative language model quantization received the ACL 2022 Outstanding Paper Award.
